Raising awareness of depression in hopes of preventing suicides.
We are so thankful for all who gave, played, volunteered and prayed in the 11th Johnny Leathers, Jr. Memorial Golf Tournament. We raised an amazing $18,000 and these funds will continue to help others who are in need of help and hope. We can't stop here, so please save the date of Saturday, May 16, 2015 and join us at the 12th Johnny Leathers, Jr. Memorial Golf Tournament back at WGCC.

The Johnny Foundation would like to thank you for your support of the 11th annual Johnny Leathers, Jr. Memorial Golf Tournament held on May 17th, 2014.. The day began with sunshine and then a little cold rain fell around half way through play but we were blessed to have 91 golfers play, 10 volunteers, breakfast provided by Chick-fil-A of Canton, pre-game bagpipe music by Occasional Music, silent auction by Heritage Charity Auctions and Awards, photography by Michael Beck with Michael bringing his video droid and providing us with some amazing aerial views. (checkout his website www.beckshot.com/Sports/Johnny-Foundation-Golf/2014/ )
We were so blessed to have raised $18,000 this year. Only God could bring good from the awful loss of suicide and we are blessed to use HIS goodness to continue to support awareness projects and fund the memorial funds with Paraclete Counseling (www.paracletecounseling.com) in Suwanee, GA, and Family Psychological Center in Roswell, GA. (www.brendawagnerphd.com) These funds are set aside to assist with the funding of counseling for anyone suffering with depression but unable to pay for sessions or without insurance. Anyone needing counseling may contact either of the centers and mention "The Johnny Foundation" for assistance.
We may never know how many lives will be touched because of your generosity and we are so thankful to have your support. Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we strive to shine God's light by providing help and hope to those who struggle with an illness that makes them believe they will live the worst day of their life every day of their life.
Thank you for being a blessing to others, The Johnny Foundation and our family,
Wayne, Lisa, Trish and Tina (with Johnny in our hearts forever)
